Terms of Use
Last updated 25 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Lanes, its website and its optional features. By using Lanes you agree to them.
The app
Lanes is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. Where they differ, these terms add to Apple's agreement and don't take away any of your rights under it.
Lanes is free. If we ever offer paid features, the price and what you get will be shown in the app before you pay.
Your account
You can use Lanes without an account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, keep your Apple or Google account secure, because it is the key to your Lanes account. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
Your content
What you put in Lanes stays yours. We don't claim any ownership of it. You give us only the permission we need to run the features you turn on, such as syncing a Slack List or giving an AI agent the boards you chose. How we handle it is in the Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for what you put in Lanes and for having the right to use it, including other people's information in shared boards, Slack Lists and meeting transcripts.
Other services
Slack, Google and the AI agents you connect are run by other companies under their own terms. When you connect one, you also agree to its terms, and you're responsible for what you allow it to do. An AI agent can make mistakes: with Move or Edit access it can change or delete cards, so choose its access with care. Every change it makes shows in the card's activity.
The Assistant's answers come from Apple Intelligence and may be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important.
Fair use
Don't use Lanes to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, or to get into accounts or data that aren't yours. Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the Lanes server. We may limit or stop access for anyone who does.
Changes and availability
We keep improving Lanes, and features may change or end. We'll try to give notice in the app before removing something you rely on. The server-based features (Slack, meeting tasks and AI agents) may sometimes be unavailable. Your boards keep working on your devices when they are.
Liability
Lanes is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Lanes. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
