My boards aren't on my other device.

Boards sync through iCloud. Check you're signed in to the same Apple Account on both devices and that iCloud is on for Lanes (Settings, your name, iCloud). Lanes shows its iCloud status in Profile, then Account.

How do I share a board?

Open the board and tap the people button. The people you invite need an Apple Account. Boards linked to a Slack List can't be shared, because the Slack connection belongs to whoever linked it.

How do I add a Lanes widget?

Touch and hold your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose Lanes. Pick Today, Due or Board. To choose which board a Board widget shows, touch and hold the widget and tap Edit Widget.

How do I use Lanes with Siri?

Say "Add a card in Lanes" or "What's due today in Lanes". You'll also find Lanes actions in the Shortcuts app.

How do I make a card repeat?

Give the card a due date, then choose Repeat under it. When you mark the card done, the next one is added to the first lane with its new due date.

I deleted a card by mistake.

Tap Undo straight after, shake your iPhone, or press Command-Z on a Mac. Cards on shared boards and Slack boards can't be brought back once deleted.

Can I move my boards from Trello?

Yes. In Trello, export a board as JSON. In Lanes, tap Add on My boards, then Import, and choose the file. You can also import a CSV file and choose which column is the title, lane, due date and so on.

How do I export my boards?

Open a board's menu and choose Export, as a spreadsheet (CSV) or a Lanes file. To save every board at once, open Profile and choose Export all boards. Photos and attachments aren't included.

How do I get told when someone gives me a card?

On a shared board, Lanes lets you know when someone assigns you a card, or finishes, moves to Done or comments on a card that's yours. Turn it off in Profile under When someone assigns you a card.

How do I get Lanes on my Apple Watch?

Lanes for Apple Watch comes with the iPhone app. Open the Watch app on your iPhone, find Lanes and tap Install. Your watch shows today's cards and your boards whenever your iPhone is nearby.

How do I show only some boards during a Focus?

Open Settings, then Focus, choose a Focus, tap Add Filter and choose Lanes. Pick the boards you want to see while that Focus is on.

How do I connect a Slack List?

In Lanes, open Profile, then Slack, and add your workspace, or add Lanes to Slack here. Then link a List to a board. Changes in Slack show up in Lanes within a minute.

How do meeting tasks work?

Connect Google in Profile, then Account. Lanes checks your Google Meet transcripts about every 15 minutes and lists what you agreed to do on the Dashboard. Transcripts need to be turned on in Google Meet for your meetings.

How do I connect Claude or another AI agent?

In Lanes, open Profile, then AI agents, and turn on "Let AI agents use my boards". Then add Lanes to your agent using this address:

For Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http lanes https://lanesapp.com.au/mcp. Sign in with the account you use in Lanes and choose what the agent can do. You can change its access or disconnect it in Lanes at any time.

I signed in to Lanes with Apple. Can I connect an agent?

Signing in with Apple on the web isn't ready yet. In Lanes, open Profile, then Account, and tap Connect Google. Then choose Continue with Google when the agent asks you to sign in.

How do I delete my account?

In Lanes, open Profile, then Account, then Delete account. Everything the Lanes server holds about you is deleted, and Lanes' access to Apple, Google and Slack is revoked. Your boards stay in your iCloud until you delete them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
